Aïssata Seck, a 36 year old elected official and granddaughter of Senegalese Tirailleur, is the initiator of the petition on change.org launched on November 11th.
She was received on 7 December with a delegation of Senegalese Tirailleurs by the President of the National Assembly Claude Bartolone. The latter renewed its support for this action for the Senegalese Tirailleurs.
Following their various exchanges, the President of the National Assembly must meet in the coming days the new Minister of the Interior in order to find a favorable outcome to the naturalization of Senegalese Tirailleurs.
