The Secretary General of FESCI student and school federation of Côte d’Ivoire, Mr. Assi Fulgence, requests the clemency of the Head of State for the release of 17 students incarcerated at the Abidjan Prison and Correction.

According to him, they were arrested for political reasons. “We are asking the President of the Republic to encourage the release of our fellow students who have been imprisoned at the Abidjan Detention and Correctional Center for five years,” he said in a note sent to the Agency.
