A US lawyer has agreed to defend Assane Diouf, detained in a US jail in two court cases: a terrorism case, on the denunciation of the Senegalese Interior Minister, and about his status as an immigrant. The black dress claimed 3 million CFA francs to open the file.
According to information from the AS, young Senegalese living in the United States pledged to raise the amount claimed by the lawyer. For her part, Françoise Gaye, who supports Assane Diouf, has received pledges for 750,000 CFA francs after three hours of fundraising campaign on the Net (see video).
