MOROCCO : Covid-19: Night fire cover from Saturday.

The Moroccan minister of the Interior announced on Thursday the ban on night trips between 7:00 PM and 5:00 AM as of this Saturday, which coincides with the first day of the blessed month of Ramadan, and this in the context of strengthening the measures of the state of health emergency. In a press release, the Ministry noted that citizens are prohibited from travelling outside their homes or on the public road during this time period, whether on foot or in various transport vehicles, with the exception of persons employed or engaged in vital and essential sectors and activities.

Local authorities and security services will ensure the application of strict control measures against anyone on the public road outside the restrictions announced in the press release, under penalty of prosecution under the provisions of the decree-law relating to the state of health emergency and the procedures of its declaration, adds the ministry.
