In the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, Monday, September 23, 2019 around 7 am, a classroom of a primary school named Precious Talent Top School collapsed. The toll is heavy, 7 children have lost their lives and more than 50 have been injured and taken to hospital by the Red Cross elements.
Rescuers had a hard time getting close to school and doing their job properly due to the presence of many people on the scene. According to the director of the school, Moses Ndirangu, the reasons for such a tragedy are to be sought in the construction of a sewer pipe that would have weakened the foundation of the building.
