The Senegalese capital will be the place of convergence and attraction of all the great actors and humorists of the world, as part of a new show that will take place on May 13, 2023 on the stage of the Grand National Theatre.

In a press release, a copy of which has been sent to us, we note that for its 4th edition the international comedy festival, “Dakar fait sa Comedy” is back in the country of Teranga with new innovations.

Around twenty of the most prominent and followed comedians of the moment, from France, Africa and Senegal promise the Senegalese public fire on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 8 pm in collaboration with XKSprod. Among the expected artists are Magnifik, Prissy La Degameuse, Juste Parfait, Rey Mendes, Moussier Tombola, Sacko Camara, Sara Lélé, Redouane Behache, Jean-Claude Muaka, Zatis and Kalvin, Singom, Mister Kékéké, but also the star of Senegalese music Pape Diouf, and other nice surprises.

According to the producer and founder of the Samba Kanté festival, joined by Seneweb, the goal of Dakar is to make Senegal a great place to laugh. “The goal is for Dakar to become the hub and rendezvous of African humour,” he said.
