A reception centre for orphan children. This is the big project launched by Kenza Attié, Miss Gbêkê and second runner-up Miss Côte d’Ivoire 2021, in Bamela, her village. The Miss with a big heart, very sensitive to the situation of orphans, gave the starting point of the work by the laying of the first stone on Friday, May 20, 2022.

This ceremony follows a promise made to her parents in Bamela, a village in the commune of Botro since 2021, when she was a candidate for the final phases of the Miss Côte d’Ivoire contest.

Miss Kenza has always dreamed, as she put it so well, of a place where children in need could take refuge and find all the love, security and support they need to grow up and become happy and responsible adults. I dream of a place where I will see these children run, joyful and serene. A place where they can learn everything they need to start a peaceful life and build their own family. I see buildings for dormitories, refectories, study rooms, a library… and even a vegetable garden, a chicken coop, a barn… why not? Above all, I see a place blessed by our prayers and the assurance of the good.”

The Miss with a big heart did not fail to thank those who accompanied her in this project. Especially the Chief of the village and all the families who participated in the project. As well as COMICI for its encouragement.

The infrastructure, which will be built over an area of 2 hectares, will include a reception centre, a shelter and a trades centre for the benefit of its residents.
The ceremony took place in the presence of administrative and customary authorities of Botro. In particular the Sub-Prefect of Botro, Joseph Brafo, the Municipal Councillor, Euloge Sahore, representing the Mayor of Botro, Augustin Kouassi Kan, president of the mutual for the development of Bamela ( Mudeba), Nanan N’guessan Marthurin, Representative of the Satiklan Township Chief and Nanan Konan Avie, Chief of the Village of Bamela.

The ceremony caused a great deal of emotion among the population. It is therefore quite naturally in joy and joy that they have sketched dance steps ‘Adjoss’ to translate all the gratitude of the village to their daughter, granddaughter and the partners who accompany her.
