A private plane with 10 people on board crashed on Wednesday in the Tver region of Russia while it was on a Moscow-St Petersburg route, without leaving any survivors, rescue services said. According to the agencies Ria Novosti, TASS and Interfax, referring to the Russian air transport agency Rossaviatsia, the name of Yevgeny Prigojine is listed on the passenger list of this flight. Rescue services previously reported that all passengers on the plane were dead.

“There were 10 persons on board, including 3 crew members. According to initial reports, all the people on board died,’ the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations reported on Telegram.

Appeared in a video on Monday

Yevgeny Prigojine appeared Monday night for the first time in a face-to-face video since abandoning his rebellion against the Kremlin in June, speaking in a desert landscape, dressed in camouflage and showing an assault rifle.

He claimed in this video that he was with fighters of his own in Africa, where he worked throughout Russia, calling the volunteers to join him. Yevgeny Prigojine had already spoken since his aborted rebellion via audio messages broadcast on various Telegram channels, but never by speaking face to camera, as he used to do when he was in Ukraine.

Wagner’s rebellion had shaken the Russian power, in the midst of the conflict in Ukraine. It ended on the evening of 24 June with an agreement to leave Yevgeny Prigojine for Belarus, while his fighters could join him, join the regular Russian army or return to civilian life.
