SENEGAL: Guy Marius Sagna soon expelled from the public service.

The leader of “Frapp France clears”, Guy Marius Sagna completed his 79th day of detention this Sunday, February 16, 2020 in the penal camp of Liberty 6. In the same way as Ousmane Sonko, the leader of Pastef, Guy Marius Sagna risks be removed from office if the detention exceeds 6 months.

According to Ousmane Wade, the general delegate of “France Frapp Dégage”, the activist Guy Marius Sagna, in detention for more than 2 months now, could no longer be part of the public service if the duration of his imprisonment exceeds 180 days. “The wish of the state is to fire him from the public service, because after six months in detention, he could be struck off and his salary cut,” he regrets.

Ousmane Wade further informs that as part of his work as a social worker, the state assigned him to a ruined building to destabilize him, and now it is the prison for just having protested against the rise in the price of electricity in the country.
