Liverpool scored a second away win on the 21st day of the English championship against West Ham. A match in which the Egyptian, Mohamed Salah, signed a double and contributed fully to the final victory of the Reds 3 goals to 1. Senegalese Sadio Mané and Brazilian Roberto Firmino did not take part in the match, which is an additional motivation according to Mohamed Salah.

Reds manager Jürgen Klopp is pleased with the performance of his days on the march of the 21st day of the Premier League, a match largely within the reach of the Reds with more than 68% ball possession. Mohamed Salah took the opportunity to score his 14th and 15th goals respectively in the 57th and 68th minute. He thus became the only player behind Ian Rush in 1984/1985, to have scored at least 20 goals in all competitions per season for 4 consecutive seasons.

Questioned about the absences of attackers Sadio Mané and Roberto Firmino, cared for by the coach, Mohamed Salah suggests that he always takes his responsibilities when the usual starters are not present. His playing and his performances do not necessarily depend on the presence on the field of the Senegalese or the Brazilian. “It’s a good win for us today, after playing away for the second time. We have to win every game and West Ham is a tough team. They play really well, but I like playing against them. We just have to move on and keep winning. I knew Sadio Mané and Roberto weren’t going to start, so I had a big responsibility, but I try every game to help the team.” said Mo Salah with a smile after the Reds victory.
