Sahara Medias was able to access a document relating to the heritage of the former president that was seized by the pole in charge of investigations pending its trial for corruption.

The document mentions more than 29 billion old ouguiyas in the form of deposits in banks or in the form of liquidity entrusted to natural persons.

The court seized 7.2 billion (MRO) in the form of deposits in national banks in addition to other liquidity in national and foreign currencies.

The amounts entrusted to natural persons who have attested their membership to the former president reached 6.8 billion (MRO).

To this must be added land, factories, agricultural projects, markets, buildings, villas for residential use, resorts, land for residential, commercial and tourism use for an estimated value of 12,5 billion old ouguiyas (MRO).

Also seized was the value of 2.5 billion (MRO) in the form of cars, trucks, machinery and prospecting workshops, mobile drilling equipment in addition to other technical equipment.

Finally, among the assets seized for a value of 356 million ouguiyas (MRO) camelins, genetically improved cattle, goats, sheep, horses and deer.
