The Regional Express Train (TER) is a work that requires, before its operation, a securing of the tracks and a serious technical work since it will join the station of Dakar to the AIBD. The train will run at 160 km/hour and the power line has a capacity of 25,000 volts.
Lane security currently concerns the Keur Mbaye Fall and Thiaroye walkways and if these two lanes are secured dynamic testing will start.
