African activity of Beninese origin Kémi Séba spoke on his facebook page this Friday, March 5, 2021 on the situation of tension in Senegal. Since 3 days following the arrest of opposition leader Ousmane Sonko, demonstrations have broken out throughout major cities of Senegal such as Dakar the capital, Bignonda, Thies, Touba or Tambacounda. Through a popular uprising, the demonstrators demand the release of their leader and the resignation of President Macky Sall.

Pan-Africanist Kémi Séba spoke this Friday, March 5 on his facebook page: “So many years of awareness on the ground, of sacrifices, of imprisonment, of evictions, of repression, of humiliation of all kinds, to see finally this day arrive in our countries that I love to die. The people of Sheikh Anta Diop are rebelling against French neocolonialism and its puppet Macky Sall. In the name of God, MACKY will RESIGN. I predict that to you. Let the fight increase. And may the creator allow me one day to find this land of the Teranga that the Black servants of the White Settler forbid me to tread. It’s time to wake up. We had planned for March 20, but by the grace of the Almighty, all by a combination of circumstances, started long before. It is now a question of multiplying the hotbeds of protest. ON THE GROUND. With intelligence.”
