BEACH SOCCER – Senegal’s historic qualification over Brazil


A historic qualification of Senegal against a brilliant team from Brazil, 14 times world champion of Beach Soccer and the most titled nation of the discipline. With a precious success (5 – 4) this Thursday, August 26, 2021, the men of Ngalla Sylla have reached their goal which was to reach the last square of the world. This is the first time the Senegal team has reached this level of competition.

The Senegal team of Beach Soccer never ceases to surprise by continuing to win. “We thank God for this great victory and a historic qualification for the semi-finals. Brazil is one of the best teams in this discipline, but we believed until the end. When we left Senegal, our first objective was to reach the semi-finals and that’s it. Since 2007, we stopped in the quarter-finals.” said Captain Al Seyni Ndiaye after the game.
