The Portuguese, Cristiano Ronaldo, 36, has reached an agreement with the Reds Devils. Announced in Manchester City in recent days, the five-time Golden Ball will finally find the two Manchester United recruits namely English Jadon Sancho and French defender Raphaël Varan. A return to the source for the Portuguese striker who left England in the summer of 2009 to find Real Madrid (2009 – 2018), then the Juventus of Turin (2018 – 2021).

Cristiano Ronaldo is officially a Manchester United player. An agreement was reached between the leaders of the Reds Devils and those of the Juventus of Turin. An estimated offer of €30 million finally convinced the Juventus leaders to sell the five-fold Ballon d’Or, free of contract next summer. “Manchester United is pleased to confirm an agreement with Juventus for the transfer of Cristiano Ronaldo, subject to an agreement on personal conditions, visa and medical care“, reads the statement issued by Manchester United on Friday 27 August 2021. The Lusitanian star was linked to the Mancunian club until 2024.

Cristiano Ronaldo joined Manchester United in 2003 from Sporting Portugal for a €19m check. He managed to make his mark by scoring 118 goals in all competitions in 6 years (2003 – 2009) and by delivering 69 assists out of 292 games played. His return to Old Trafford was experienced by Mancunian supporters as a salute to the club, which last won the English title in 2013.
