Chad accuses Qatar of being involved in attempts to destabilize its territory from Libya.
Chad has decided today to close the Embassy of Qatar on its soil, and ordered all diplomatic personnel to leave its territory within 10 days, it is learned from a communiqué of the Ministry Foreign affairs, African integration and international cooperation.

The Ambassador of Qatar was received yesterday afternoon by the head of diplomacy Hissein Brahim Taha who notified him the decision of the Chadian authorities.
“In order to safeguard peace and stability in the region, Chad calls on Qatar to stop any action that could affect its security as well as that of the countries of the Lake Chad Basin and the Sahel,” the statement said.
