Thanks to goals from Soufiane Bouftini and Ayoub El Kaabi, the Atlas Lions won against Mali (2-0) in the final and won their second consecutive CHAN. By AfricaTopSport

Morocco has become the first country to win the Pan-African tournament twice in a row. After the CHAN 2018, which the Moroccans won at home, they did indeed repeat during the CHAN 2020 in Cameroon. This time it is Ayoub El Kaabi, top scorer and best player at CHAN 2018, who doubles the lead from close range: 0-2, 79th. A nice revenge for the Moroccan captain, shouting lack of success in this tournament and so far scorer only on two penalties.
Reduced to ten following the expulsion of Samake (90th + 3), sanctioned with a second yellow card after resorting to VAR for a sole on Bemaamar, Mali lost again in the final, as in 2016 …
