France announced this Sunday, April 5, 357 new deaths linked to the coronavirus (Covid-19) during the last 24 hours.
A total of 70,487 people tested positive for the coronavirus and 8,078 have died since the start of the epidemic which has already infected more than a million people worldwide.
According to the latest data communicated by the Directorate General of Health, France lists 8,078 deaths including 5,889 in hospitals and 2,189 in nursing homes and other medical and social establishments.
28,891 people are hospitalized because of the Coronavirus, which is 748 more than yesterday.
Concerning the age of 6,978 patients hospitalized in intensive care, 35% of them are under 60 years old. 106 people are under the age of 30.
Number of confirmed Coronavirus cases down in Algeria
Algeria has recorded sixty (69) new cases infected with coronavirus and 22 new deaths in the last 24 hours, bringing the number of confirmed cases to 1320 and that of deaths to 152.
