FOOTBALL – FC Metz firmly refuses to release players Lamine Camara and Papa Amadou Diallo

0

The Senegalese Football Federation brings to the attention of the public, that FC Metz has refused firmly and definitively, to release the players Lamine Camara and Papa Amadou Diallo, for their participation in the next U20 World Cup, despite the insistent request of the president of the FSF. The Commission takes note of this.

For Mamadou Lamine Camara of AS Berkane (Morocco), the same situation of refusal prevails, even if discussions are underway for a release from 15 May 2023.

FIFA does not require clubs to release players in favour of young national teams at the U20 and U17 World Cups.

The FIFa U-20 World Cup, held every two years, brings together 24 nations competing in an international competition. The Continental Qualifications are an exciting final phase. So far, eleven teams have won the title: Argentina, Brazil, Portugal, Serbia, Ghana, Spain, Russia, Germany, England, France and Ukraine.
