FRIENDLY MATCH – Senegal knocks Brazil down 4-2

After Cameroon at the 2022 World Cup and Morocco in a friendly match, Senegal brought down Brazil on March 20, 2023. The Teranga Lions won at the José Alvalade stadium in Lisbon 4-2.

Africa is beginning to tame Brazil. While Selecao was imperial against the African countries (only Cameroon had a victory before this season), it began to fall. In Qatar, Cameroon managed to bring the Brazilians down to 1-0. Just after the World Cup, Morocco, who finished 4th, also beat Brazil 2-1. It is now up to Senegal to win against the most successful country in the history of the World Cup.

The first goal of the game was scored by Brazil. On a cross, Paqueta led Mory Diaw with a good header. But in the wake, Habib Diallo equalized with a powerful volley. Senegal then curled up behind at the end of the first period, taking on a counter-attack. But in the second period, the Lions were untenable.
