GHANA – Clubs reserve special tribute to Alhadj Jawula after his death

The Ghanaian Football Association announces a special tribute to Alhaji Mohammed Nuru-Deen Jawula after the death of the former Ghanaian football boss.

Jawula died at 73 last week in the United States of America. A one-minute applause celebration for the deceased former GFA president for all Day 14 betPawa Premier League games will be played this weekend.

This decision comes from the GFA and concerns All games of the 12th day of All Access Bank Division One League will be played this weekend. All league games for the 2nd Division of the Regional Football Association, 3rd Division and Women’s Division 1 and Juvenile League (13, 15 and 17) will take place this weekend.”

Jawula, who led the GFA from 1997 to 2001, also chaired the MTN FA Cup committee and the organizing committee of Ghana’s first league until his death.
