The Sporting d’Anderlecht announced this Wednesday the extension of the contract of one of its greatest talents. It is Marco Kana. By Isidore AKOUETE
The Belgian of Congolese origin will stay with the Mauves a few more years. The young defender extended his contract with the Brussels club until 2023. For his first season at the heart of Anderlecht’s Team A, Marco Kana played 15 championship games and scored a goal. He is 17 years old.
I toured all the age teams here and, in recent years, I played alongside Jeremy Doku, Yari Verschaeren and Killian Sardella. So RSC Anderlecht is my home. I want to thank my parents and coaches for the support and guidance I have received to date. I made my decision in close consultation with my parents. This is a logical step in the development of my career. I will do everything I can to earn the trust of the technical staff, the club and the supporters,” he said in the club’s statement.
