Internationally renowned singer Coumba Gawlo Seck opened the 8th Francophone Games on Friday (July 21st) in Abidjan, the Ivorian capital with a song that vibrated throughout the stadium.
Guest of honor of the organizing committee of these games, the Senegalese artist was sublime in his bazin sewn to the golden son, accessorized by a collier composed of golden circles as well.
As a reminder, the Senegalese diva took part in the final of the last African Cup of Nations.
It took place during the official opening ceremony in the presence of the Ivorian head of state Alassane Dramane Ouattara, the other African heads of state and officials accredited to this cultural and sporting Francophone event, which will take place from 21 to 31 July 2017.
