The Director General of the Port Authority of Dakar, Cheikh Kanté, Doctor, received the Special Prize for the Jury by the Association des écrivains du Senegal. A reward that comes after the publication of his book, a novel whose title is “La camisole”.
It was November 7 at the launching ceremony of the International Writer’s Day, chaired by Prime Minister Mouhammad Dione in Keur Birago bu bess that the author received this award. Other personalities of the literary world were present.
Dr Cheikh Kanté has just added a new title to his list of outstanding intellectuals.
On 122 pages, the author demonstrates the ability of Africans to transform the obstacles of slavery into an advantage for the advancement of the continent.
