Arrived Tuesday, September 10, 2019 in Paris, the new Ambassador of Senegal in France, El Hadji Magatte Sèye has reserved his first trip to the former Senegalese President Abdou Diouf. He paid him a courtesy call on Friday, September 13, after praying at the Great Mosque of Paris.
“We also admire you for your sense of ethics and that’s why we wanted to visit you with the strong recommendation of President Macky Sall,” Ambassador Magatte Sèye told President Diouf.
The former president greatly appreciated this gesture of courtesy and consideration and spoke at length with the diplomat who was accompanied by Minister Counselor Moustapha Ndour also recently appointed Ambassador of Senegal in Mauritania.
