The club of Rufisque, Tengueth Fc, managed to qualify in the group phase of the African Champions League by eliminating Raja Casablanca in the second round of the preliminaries after the shots on goal this Tuesday, January 5, 2021 in Morocco. A historic qualification for the men of Youssouph who achieved the feat of the club of the Senegalese capital, Jeanne d’Arc in 2004.

It was at the end of a hard-fought match that Youssouph Dabo’s men managed to bring out the last semi-finalist in the Champions League.

After 120 minutes of play, the score was still (0-0) as in the first match in Senegal. The final decision will be the shots on goal (3-1) with a more realistic Tengueth Fc team.

A historic feat by Tengueth Fc which joins Jeanne d’Arc of Dakar, the only Senegalese team to reach the group phases of the African Champions League in 2004. Remember that Tengueth Fc led the Senegalese championship with 33 points taken in 13 days but he was deprived of the title due to the pandemic.
