The national dialogue requested by the President of the Republic, Macky Sall, has not revealed all its secrets. The deputy Mamadou Lamine DIallo, known for his criticisms of the regime in place, said on January 1, 2020 that the Senegalese people will suffer a lot this year because the national dialogue will cost 10 million per day.
For the deputy, the dialogue exists only in name but most decisions taken will be stored in the drawers as usual. In addition, the Senegalese taxpayer will pay the costs of what Mamadou Lamine Diallo considers to be a “pseudo-dialogue”.
To always believe it, the political funds of the President of the Republic knew an increase of 800 million FCFA in 2020. An increase that the deputy justifies by the financing of the dialogue which will last three months but also by the will to enlist “opponents in the Emirate gas project.”
