Ousmane Sonko, leader of Pastef @Caputure Facebook

Following accusations of rape and death threats by a masseuse and a supposed complaint filed by the complainant, according to the revelations of the newspaper “Les Echos”, PASTEF leader Ousmane Sonko reacted on his Facebook page. According to the most influential and courted politician in Senegal everything is defamation, slander and persecution. No politician has ever been so defamed, slandered and persecuted in such a short time,” he said. His entire message below:

“Dear friends, activists and supporters,

– After Russian financing
– After links with MFDC
– After financing by the Islamic State
– After the complaint for “defamation” concerning the 94billion
– After the puppet complaint by Franck Timis et tutti quanti, ….
– After the tens of millions of Tullow oil ,
– after the cases of Karim Wade and Yaya Diamé. etc.
Here comes the case of “repetitive” rapes under the threat of two guns, in the presence of witnesses and with prior sending of Sms by the rapist to announce his arrival to his victim.
No politician has ever been so defamed, slandered and persecuted in such a short time. And this is indicative of their attempts to destabilize, as tireless as they are vain.
We knew that after the liquidations of Khalifa Sall and Karim Wade, Macky’s new team had only one mission: to liquidate Sonko at all costs before 2024, including manipulating individuals for such abject work.
For months friends, including from within, have been alerting me to an upcoming conspiracy about morals, since all the others had failed miserably.
Dear friends, activists and sympathizers, rest assured that I had nothing to do with these vicious lies.
Pending the official notification of a complaint or convocation, I invite you to remain mobilized as usual and to continue the work of massification, enlistment of the first voters and installation of cells in every corner and corner of Senegal, because 2024 is now!”
