SENEGAL – Senartvision label launches “EFOR” concept

On the sidelines of the International Women’s Day promoting women’s entrepreneurship, in partnership with the Ministry of Culture and Historical Heritage, the Ministry of Microfinance and the Social Economy , the Ministry of Health and Social Action, the Ministry of Women, Family and Child Protection and petrosen are launching an artistic residency. Under the name of the concept EFOR (Ensemble, Force, Organisation and Responsibility), its main objective is to contribute to the country’s progress.

a 10-day project, 10 different themes and 10 committed titles entirely composed by renowned women artists will be produced for women.
Women face socio-cultural burdens and often social and economic exclusion but continue to show resilience with bravery by committing and taking on the challenge of improving their living conditions and those of their homes. The Efor project will not be left out in this fight because the responsibility of men is a structural lever of the empowerment of women and the awareness of vulnerable groups.

To increase awareness, the songs of the album will be declined under the themes of Violence against women, the prevention of cervical cancer in the Union, the empowerment of women,maternal mortality and many other themes that will be taken into account to provide better living conditions for women. A national and international tour is planned at the end of the residency with our ladies

Mia Guissé to mobilize resources that will allow women to access financial resources, as it is based on the real economy, to have the possibility to carry out income-generating activities and the possibility to buy ambulances to eradicate maternal and child mortality, to acquire wheelchairs for the association of disabled women of Senegal.All Senegalese are called to support the Efor project: Together, Strength, Organization and Responsibility.
