The Minister of Sports, Matar Bâ in the company of the wife and children of Pape Bouba Diop were at the center of the Generation Foot Academy in Déni Biram Ndao, this Thursday, according to a statement of the Ministry. By SeneNews
“Welcomed by President Mady Touré and the Director of Communication, Talla Fall, the hosts were able to realize the big investments that were made in this center. Minister Matar Ba and the family of the former international who died a few weeks ago, visited the premises, the football fields of the centre and in particular the Bernard Serin High School which has been open for two years,” the statement adds.
And to precise “During the visit, the son of the late Pope Bouba DIOP, Aron DIOP (14) expressed the wish to join the Academy to follow in his father’s footsteps to become a great footballer and even a Senegalese international.”
This did not take long to materialize since «this request was accepted with great pleasure by President Mady Touré who made the decision to integrate it into the center.»
