CAN 2019: Mali cuts Mauritania.


The second match of Group E was against Mali, with a young talented formation, in Mauritania who discovers CAN. The Malians have wandered and offer themselves a beautiful victory 4 to 1.

Mali has imposed an intense rhythm on Mauritania. Widely dominating, the Eagles of Mali opened the scoring on a heavy shot of Abdoulaye Diaby in full skylight in the 37th minute (1 – 0).

Fc Porto striker Moussa Marega scored the second goal on a penalty in the 45th minute following a foul by Mauritanian goalkeeper Souleymane Diallo (2 – 0).

In the second half, Adama Traoré finally buries the hopes of the Mauritanians by scoring the 3rd goal on an outside of the foot in the penalty area in the 55th minute (3 – 0).

But, in the 72nd minute, El Hacen El Id turns a penalty for Mauritanians for a foul of Malian defender Mamadou Fofana (3 – 1).

A joy of short duration since Adama Traoré, entered in place of his namesake, pushes the nail in the 74th minute on a beautiful shot outside the surface (4 – 1).

Mali is doing a nice operation and will challenge Tunisia on Friday at 14:30 in Suez.
