The Argentinean striker, Lionel Messi, said goodbye to his heart club, FC Barcelona, this Sunday, August 8, 2021. In front of the press, the pulga could not help but shed warm tears knowing that he will leave a club he discovered at the age of 13. The sixfold gold ball would have wanted to continue the adventure with the Catalan club but the regulations in force of the Liga did not allow to conclude such an operation. Lionel Messi will probably join Paris Saint-Germain. He arrived Sunday evening in the French capital to finalize the contract. He will meet his former team-mate at FC Barcelona, Neymar Junior, as well as his compatriots Angel Di Marí and Leandro Paredes.
