FRENCH FOOTBALL FEDERATION – Philippe Diallo replaces Noël Le Graet

It is official since the morning of this Saturday, June 10, 2023. The successor of Noël Le Graët at the head of the French Football Federation is finally known. Put aside since the beginning of 2023 following his devastating comments on Zinedine Zidane, Noël Le Graët is no longer officially president of the French Football Federation. Philippe Diallo is indeed the new president of the FFF. He was acting for Node Le Graet who was present at the General Assembly, which was ousted at the beginning of the year. Diallo was elected until 2024 with 91.26% of the votes cast. This should make Didier Deschamps very happy. Yesterday, the Bleu coach assured us that he had a «good relationship» with Noëlle Le Grave’s successor.
Phillipe Diallo, new president, is very happy to finally take the lead of the FFF : “You do me the honour of inscribing my name – the 13th – as President of the FFF. In recent months we have experienced a number of difficulties and I would like to associate with your vote the members of the Executive Committee, a united, united and competent team. In the weeks and months that it took, this team was able to continue to make the Federation work, work on projects and prepare for the future. Your confidence gives me great strength. I am ready to commit to what was started with Noël Le Graët in March 2021 and go beyond to continue the modernization of our Federation. We are turning a page and the question that may have been raised about the legitimacy of our governance is now closed,” he said.
Philippe Diallo was inducted Saturday morning President of the French Football Federation during the FFF General Assembly held at the Hotel Méridien in Paris. When voting with the French football delegates, he was elected with 91.26% of the votes cast.
Philippe Diallo joined the FFF Executive Committee. It was during the elections held in March 2021 when the Le Graët Christmas list won 73.02% of the vote. Philippe Diallo was then Treasurer General. Following the departure of Brigitte Henriques, he became Associate Vice-President on December 11, 2021. Before taking on the interim presidency in January. It was at the time of Noël Le Graët’s retirement. He left office on February 28.
