In a note sent on April 27 to the director of the judicial police, Interpol Guinea-Bissau is seeking the support of the Senegalese police. It is as part of the investigation, «for kidnapping and forcible confinement», on the disappearance of two judges of the regional court of Bissau: Julocido Banar Djonu, 41, president of the criminal chamber, and Admar Da Costa, 38, president of the civil chamber.

According to sources, these magistrates have not given any sign of life since April 18. The telephone requisitions made as part of the investigations to find their traces reveal that they were located for the last time in Senegalese territory, in Djegue-Catel.

Moreover, it is reported, the last telephone number contacted by one of them, Julocido Banar Djonu, is that of a Senegalese operator. Interpol Bissau requests the «express competition» of the competent services in Senegal for the identification of the owner of this number.
