The different municipalities of Abidjan are now under the threat of the coronavirus epidemic. According to the director general of health, Mamadou Samba, “the epidemic is widespread in Abidjan, all the municipalities have cases of Covid-19”. And to carry out the fight, he insisted on the need for everyone to wear masks in order to avoid being contaminated and / or contaminating other people.
In addition, Mr. Samba invited his compatriots to apply barrier gestures, notably to keep a social distance of one meter and to wash their hands regularly or use hydro-alcoholic gels. Côte d’Ivoire, which has passed the 250 confirmed case mark, has isolated the city of Abidjan from the rest of the country. A total of 261 cases have been identified, including 37 cases of cures and 3 deaths.
