Flights between Réunion and Madagascar will resume. It was Christian Ntsay, the Prime Minister of Madagascar who announced it last night. “From October 29, the airports of Antsiranana, Toamasina, Tolagnaro and Toliara will be open to flights from the islands of the Indian Ocean,” he explained.

The island of Nosy-Be will host international flights from October 1.

“The domestic airlines connecting Antananarivo and the former province of Antsiranana will reopen from September 26. On the other hand, the Sava and Diana regions, where the contaminations have had a small rebound, they will remain suspended from flights despite the opening of all regional and national lines in the country, ”explains La Tribune de Madagascar.

This return to “normal” is explained by an improving health situation. A shortening of the curfew from midnight to four in the morning has been decided, the opening of restaurants and party rooms is allowed until 11 p.m., even if nightclubs are still closed. Gatherings of more than 200 people are now allowed.
