Nigerian music star Wizkid will be in North America from September 10, 2021 for an international tour. Indeed, Wizkid decided to take his 2020 album “Made in Lagos” to North America. It will be a question for him to discover his music in this country with stops in several cities.
With his real name Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, Wizkid has succeeded in establishing himself in international music by pushing his expertise beyond Nigerian borders. It was in this spirit that he announced a tour of North America on September 10, 2021.
For the singer, it will be a question in this trip to present to the public his album released in 2020 and which has for title “Made in Lagos”. It is also planned to make stops during this tour in several American and Canadian cities, including New York, Boston, Chicago, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Toronto among others. Tickets for this event will go on sale from July 9th.
Note that the album “Made in Lagos” is composed of 14 tracks and is Wizkid’s fourth studio album. Other collections include “Ayo” (2014) and “Sounds From the Other Side” (2017).
Wizkid’s popularity can be explained mainly by his collaborations with internationally renowned artists including fellow Nigerians Tiwa Savage and Femi Kuti, as well as Canadian rapper Drake. He also played a very important role in afrobeat.
