Austrian international defender David Alaba confirmed on Tuesday that he will leave Bayern Munich at the end of the season. By Footempo
David Alaba will be leaving his contract in June. After 13 years in the Bavarian club, the player and the club did not agree on a new extension.
I decided to do something else after this season, to leave the club. It was not an easy decision to make, I have been here for 13 years and I carry this club in my heart,” Alaba said at a press conference.
Many were waiting for him to decide on his future destination, but the Austrian said that no choice had yet been made:
“I haven’t made a decision yet, I don’t know which club I’m going to join yet… I think it’s no secret that my advisor is in touch with different clubs.”
David Alaba is indeed of interest to several major European clubs including Real Madrid, Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea, PSG…
