Pablo Longoria, president of Olympique Marseille, the legendary French football club, has been travelling to Senegal since 01 August 2021. This official visit is part of the partnership between Diambars and Olympique de Marseille. This visit should provide an update on the collaboration between the two clubs.

The Phocaean delegation led by President Longoria has arrived in Senegal since Sunday 01 August 2021. They were received by the Diambars Institute, a prestigious training centre located in Saly. The visit will end on Tuesday, August 3, 2021.

The interest of Olympique de Marseille for the Diambars Institute can be explained by the hard and professional work of the club. Moreover, Diambars is one of the best training centers in Africa that has already revealed several great players like Idrissa Gana Gueye, Kara Mbodji, Adama Mbengue or Pape Ndiaye Souare. This is what prompted Olympique de Marseille to sign a contract with the Senegalese club in 2019. The contract includes a priority option for the Marseille club on two players from the training centre each season.
