Portuguese coach José Mourinho is no longer in charge of Tottenham. The Spurs announced the dismissal of the “Special One” this Monday, April 19, 2021. Arrived in 2019 in the place of the current coach of the PSG, Mauricio Pochettino, José Mourinho could not bring to the top the team of Tottenham, currently 7th of the championship with 10 losses conceded in 32 meetings. The Englishman, Ryan Mason, will be acting for the rest of the season.

The Tottenham Spurs announced the departure of the Portuguese manager, José Mourinho, who arrived in England in 2019. The draw this Sunday, April 18, 2021 against Everton on the sidelines of the 32nd day of the championship, was the setback too. This sharing of points takes the Spurs away from the qualifying places in the next Champions League. The club leaders, tired of these counter-performances, decided to separate from the Portuguese manager. Jose Mourinho will not be able to compete in the League Cup final against Manchester City on Sunday 25 April. The club can announce today that José Mourinho and his technical staff Joao Sacramento, Nuno Santos, Carlos Lalin and Giovanni Cerra have been relieved of their duties,’ reads the message posted by the club staff.
