SENEGAL : Schengen area: Senegal still “undesirable”

On 30 July the Council of Europe reviewed the list of countries in respect of which its Member States should progressively lift travel restrictions at the external borders on the basis of the criteria and conditions set out in the Recommendation, A press release is available on the website of the Council of the European Union (EU). But it turns out that Senegal is still not one of them. More clearly, the authorized countries are: Australia, Canada, Georgia, Japan, Morocco, New Zealand, Rwanda, South Korea, Thailand, Tunisia, Uruguay and China, subject to confirmation of reciprocity.

It should also be noted that “residents of Andorra, Monaco, Saint Martin and the Vatican should be considered residents of the European Union for the purposes of this recommendation”, according to the Council of Europe.
