FIFA has begun to reveal its finalists for the 2022 Best FIFA Football Awards. In the FIFA 2022 Best Male Player category, Sadio Mané is featured.
The short lists for the eight awards were published on January 12 and the vote ended last week. Four groups voted for the winners, each contributing 25% to the overall ranking. These four groups were: media representatives, national team coaches, national team captains and the general public
This edition of The Best FIFA Football Awards is based on performances between August 8, 2021 and December 18, 2022, which was the day of the World Cup final. The winner will be announced on February 27.
