The African Confederation of Nations (CAF), the governing body of African football, has published this Sunday, June 27, 2021 the list of the 12 best football championships in the continent. The Maghrebian teams, renowned for their good game, occupy the top three positions in this ranking. Senegal, the best team in the national team rankings, is not in this top 12.
The 12 best championships in Africa are now known. Caf made the list public this Sunday, June 27, 2021. Morocco leads the standings with 180 points, followed by Egypt (147 points) and Tunisia (140 points). Then comes the Democratic Republic of Congo with 84 points. Algeria, South Africa, Nigeria, Zambia, Guinea, Angola, Sudan and Tanzania complete this list.
According to Orange Football Club, these countries will be entitled to four (4) representatives in the interclub competitions: two in the Champions League and two in the Confederation Cup ) for the 2021/2022 fiscal year.
