SENEGAL – Pope Kouly Diop leaves the Liga

The Senegalese international, Pape Kouly Diop, will leave his club Eibar at the end of his contract this Wednesday, June 30, 2021. The Spanish club has decided not to renew the 35-year-old Senegalese giant’s contract.  The midfielder will wait for another club to start next season 2021/2022 after spending three years with the Basque club. 

Pape Kouly Diop will be a free player from this Wednesday, June 30, 2021. The Basque club, Eibar, will not renew the contract of the 35-year-old Senegalese midfielder. Technical and very fast player, Pape Kouly Diop played 115 matches in the Spanish championship with Eibar. He scored three goals and issued two assists. But, the Basque club is looking for young players from where the choice is not to pursue the adventure with the native of Kaolack. 

While waiting for a new challenge, Pape Kouly Diop spends his holidays in Senegal with his team-mates in selection. He was selected with the Teranga Lions from 2010 to 2017. He scored two goals after 21 games played.
