The Open Government Partnership (OGP) or Open Government Partnership (OGP) member countries are hosting OGP Week from May 16-20, 2022. This information, which was made public in Côte d’Ivoire by a note from the OGP Technical Committee, states that the objective of the week is to promote Open Government.

Entirely dedicated to the OGP, this week will be an opportunity for all member countries to raise awareness of the Open Government Partnership, in order to popularize the initiative through several activities. In Côte d’Ivoire, it will be marked by the Declaration of the National Focal Point, the Minister of Trade, Industry and the Promotion of SMEs.

It should be recalled that the OGP or PGO is an initiative launched in 2011 by eight countries: the United States, the United Kingdom, South Africa, the Philippines, Norway, Mexico, Indonesia and Brazil. It aims primarily to promote transparency in the management of public affairs through greater accountability and citizen involvement.
