The politician Mamadou Coulibaly addressed the question of civil disobedience but also the questions of the audiovisual media and replied to the CEO of Life TV. We have noted some extracts from the video.

Hello everyone, this week I am going to make two updates on different interpellations received. The first point concerns the process of civil disobedience launched by opposition groups, movements and political parties.

A lot of people mostly think the RHDP that civil disobedience means taking machetes and going to burn and go and break and stop people from working … because they don’t understand the concept of civil disobedience.

It was never said that we are going to take the machetes and gasoline and go and burn the people’s shops, the people’s shops, prevent people from going to work, NO, that is not civil disobedience . We have to pay the bills, we have to eat, we have to produce, the economy has already been struggling for some time and it is not for us to take the letter even further.

But we are saying that the electoral process, the elections, the electoral commission, the Constitutional Council, the electoral list, the usurper candidate who must not be on the list but who nevertheless inscribes it, the outgoing president Ouattara that these are our targets and that we will not let this happen.

The second point is an interpellation that I saw yesterday from the TV bed PGD Patrick Savegnon which makes me think: “He says that there are opponents who complain of not having access to the RTI, the government channel national, and then I put at their disposal my television channel to express their ideas, to expose their ideals and then they are refusing to come …. Mr. Ouattara reserves the RTI and he obliges us opponents to do not go to RTI because we are chased out of there and they force us to go to private channels to go and advertise there and where our voice does not carry as it should … “
