After the break, Mohamed Salah secured the victory of the Reds by scoring the third goal in the 72nd minute (3 – 1).
Sadio Mané thus offers a historic record of invincibility in the Championship. He has never lost to Anfield, in 50 games played at home, he won 41 with 9 draws. The Senegalese also scored 35 goals and made seven assists.
