In Mali, negotiations are continuing. An ECOWAS envoy is expected as part of the negotiations for a political transition in order to hand over power to civilians.
Former Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan will be sent for the talks. He is expected in Bamako, the Malian capital, next week. The president has already participated in a video-conference exchange on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 on the Malian question.
