The Progressive Forces of Change (PFC) has just learned with great sadness of the reminder to God of the former presidential candidate of our coalition in June 2019, Dr Kane Hamidou Baba, President of the MPR and the CVE, who died on Monday, December 27 in Las Palmas, in Spain.
With this disappearance, Mauritania has just lost a sincere patriot, a seasoned technocrat and a prominent member of the country’s democratic opposition.
The President Samba Thiam, with whom he was bound by relations of exchanges followed on national subjects of common interest, and the National Executive Board of the FPC, through him, all our activists and sympathizers, Express their deepest condolences to the Mauritanian people as a whole, their biological family and their political family on the occasion of this immense loss.
We pray that Allah the Almighty will welcome him to his Holy Paradise and that the land of Mauritania that he loved so much be light. Amine!
