Political activist Ousmane Tounkara, famous for his radical positions on social networks, has just been arrested in the United States since March 09, 2021 according to the lines of the Senegalactu, Senego or Seneweb websites. This arrest comes following a complaint filed with the American authorities by the State of Senegal for “terrorism and threat of death.”

Political activist Ousmane Tounkara has made a name for himself on social media for years. Radical in his positions towards the regime of President Macky Sall on social networks, he would be arrested for a complaint for “terrorism and threat of death”.
According to the same sources, Ousmane Tounkara is accused of calls to burn the houses of authorities during the latest demonstrations in Senegal, which had been provoked by the case of “rape and death threats with weapons” between the deputy Ousmane Sonko, leader of Pastef-Les Patriotes to the masseuse Adji Sarr.

Arrested by US federal police, activist Ousmane Tounkara faces extradition to Senegal. He is also said to be in an illegal situation in Uncle Sam’s country. As a reminder, he had already been arrested in 2015 for an alleged theft of luxury cars.
